Love, Love, Love

Posted in Family, and Photography

I’m blessed with a husband who loves me – a daughter who loves me – a Savior who loves me – a family who loves me… The word love is thrown around all too carelessly in today’s society.  Many people don’t understand what love means – what real love is.  They don’t know the beauty of unconditional love, pure love.  They can’t comprehend how real love sets a person free to become all that they are meant to be.  That unconditional love allows a person’s spirit to soar. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have…

Daddy-Daughter Walk

Can you believe that it’s already the first of November?  It’s been just over a week since Daddy had his second back surgery.  We are extremely pleased that he’s already in less pain that he was in prior to this surgery.  The recovery is already going better than after the first surgery.  Praise the Lord! The holiday season is upon us.  For Munchkin and I that means that we set aside many of the normal schooling items and begin with the fun Christmas unit studies and activities.  It also means that we have started our Advent activities. Yesterday, Sunday, was the first day of Advent.  This year, we will be reading Bartholomew’s Passage in the evenings as a family.  On December 1st, we’ll start to add in different activities including our Advent calendar. Throughout the month of December, we’ll do various crafts and bake many goodies.  We’ll work on some handmade gifts for Christmas and…
