I’m blessed with a husband who loves me – a daughter who loves me – a Savior who loves me – a family who loves me…
The word love is thrown around all too carelessly in today’s society. Many people don’t understand what love means – what real love is. They don’t know the beauty of unconditional love, pure love. They can’t comprehend how real love sets a person free to become all that they are meant to be. That unconditional love allows a person’s spirit to soar.
This is my commandment,
That ye love one another,
as I have loved you.
~John 15:12~
If society followed this rule, then our world would be such a different place.
I feel so blessed to know the unconditional love of my Savior who proved His love for my by giving His life so that I may be set free. I’m blessed to have a family, a husband, a daughter who love me – quirks and all. Real love is such a blessing. I am grateful to have that love in my life.
This post is part of the 2011 Gratitude Challenge.
I love the picture you used. Simple and profound.
Who is hosting the gratitude challenge? I do Multitudes on Mondays regularly, but I’d like to get in on this one for November.
