Wind Damage at the Horse Rescue

On Monday afternoon, shortly after Munchkin and I had left the horse rescue for the day, a big windstorm came through the ranch. A wind funnel/dust devil ripped through the pasture taking out stalls and shade structures. The one set of stalls crashed through the fence causing some major damage to the fence. Thankfully, no one was hurt even though there were a couple of volunteers who were in a stall near the stalls that were taken out. So, as I wrote yesterday, we found out on Friday that D was being deployed for a year. His package was being put together, and we were getting things in order at our end. Time for Another Deployment

On Friday, we learned that we were about to face another year long deployment. **sigh** This is the second time that we’ve moved only to have Daddy deploy shortly after moving. There is something about him going to a billet outside of his MOS that seems to land him in a position to be sent off on a deployment. Gotta love that.
