Saturday found us working hard at the horse rescue as we prepared for the big Open House and Whoa Down for Hay event at the horse rescue. The bunkhouse was ready to be rented out to interested parties, and Munchkin had worked diligently during the week to get the nature park ready to show off to those who attended the big event. When I received a bottle of Cilantro and Roasted Onion Olive Oil as a member of the Devo Diva team, I knew that I wanted to use it to make a sweet and savory sweet potato hash. While Monday held a bit of bad craziness with the freak storm that caused damage at the horse rescue, there was also some good craziness that took place the following day. The horse rescue has two different areas – the regular horse rescue and the retirement villa. The retirement villa allows horses/donkeys/ponies to live out the remainder of their lives in peace and comfort in a relaxing environment.
