On Friday, we learned that we were about to face another year long deployment. **sigh** This is the second time that we’ve moved only to have Daddy deploy shortly after moving. There is something about him going to a billet outside of his MOS that seems to land him in a position to be sent off on a deployment. Gotta love that.
In theory, this time around will be easier than last time as he should have regular communication with us. We’ll see how it all plays out as the year passes by.
I truly believe that the Lord knew that we would need to be plugged into the community faster than normal this time around, so he provided the horse rescue for us. It will help keep us busy while he’s gone, and it’s a wonderful learning opportunity for both Munchkin and me.
Needless to say, our plans have been thrown up in the air – especially since he’ll be leaving sooner rather than later. We’re focusing on getting some things done and spending time together as a family. You know that routine that I was talking about last week? Well, even that little bit of a routine has been thrown out the window for now. lol! My mind is going in a million directions at once as we try to get everything done before he leaves, so please forgive me if things seem a bit scattered. 😉
