Menu Plan Monday: Christmas Week Menu

Posted in Gluten Free, and Homemaking

I learned some time ago that I need to have a menu plan in place for the week of Christmas.  I tend to get all caught up in the fun of baking and crafting which causes me to forget what time it is.  That normally means that around 4:30 I look up and realize that I have no clue what we are doing for supper.  I don’t need that stress, so here is our menu plan for the week…

Monday:

Turkey Club Sandwiches using Gluten Free Homemaker’s Focaccia Bread
Homemade potato chips with homemade ranch dressing
Fresh baked gluten free oatmeal cookies

Tuesday:

Pizza and/or Ham & Cheese Calzones (trying out Gluten Free Homemaker’s calzone recipe)
Peanut Butter Balls and Peanut Butter Fudge

Wednesday:

Homemade gluten free pizza

Thursday – Christmas Eve:

Breakfast – gluten free cinnamon rolls
Lunch – sandwiches with homemade gluten free bread
Dinner – gluten free spaghetti with homemade gluten free breadsticks

Friday – Christmas Day:

Breakfast – gluten free monkey bread
Lunch – steak, scallops, shrimp
Dinner – finger foods (cheese & crackers, veggies & dip, fruit)

Saturday:

Breakfast – gluten free cinnamon drop biscuits
Lunch – hamburgers/hot dogs
Dinner – chicken salad & tuna salad

Sunday:

Breakfast – gluten free coffee cake
Lunch – crockpot roast chicken
Dinner – ???

That's happened to me too! That's why it's so great to have a meal plan. I can also get our teen to help out in the kitchen. He's a great cook!
You have a delicious menu planned!
I’m so glad that my husband isn’t working on Christmas Eve and Christmas. He really needs the days off.
Here’s wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas!

We are having steaks on Christmas Day as well. I am just not up to cooking the whole caboodle again right now.
