Menu Plan – Week of February 7th

Posted in Homemaking

I have gotten out of the habit of menu planning, so this week, I’m making the effort to get back into menu planning for my own sanity.  While we’re still eating home cooking each day, I’ve found myself rushing around more than I would like when dinner time approaches, so I’m taking steps to correct the unnecessary evening craziness. For Breakfast: gluten free granola gluten free peanut butter toast eggs For Lunch: left-overs veggies sandwiches For Dinner: Gluten Free Pierogies per Munchkin’s request Gluten Free Pizza Gluten Free Parmesan Crusted Chicken Nuggets Gluten Free Taco Salad Gluten Free Cheesesteaks I’m…

This week, D is home all week.  Plus, we have family flying in on Wednesday.  Last week, due to unforeseen things taking place, I didn’t get to all of the items on our list, so some of this week’s menu items will be exactly the same as last week. Monday: Lunch – Left over gluten free personal pan pizzas from Sunday Dinner – Sandwiches using Gluten Free Homemaker’s Focaccia Bread Veggies…

Monday: BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwiches using Gluten Free Homemaker’s Focaccia BreadHomemade potato chips with homemade ranch dressing Tuesday: Spaghetti with meatballsHomemade gluten free bread Wednesday: Homemade gluten free sub…

I learned some time ago that I need to have a menu plan in place for the week of Christmas.  I tend to get all caught up in the fun of baking and crafting which causes me to forget what time it is.  That normally means that around 4:30 I look up and realize that I have no clue what we are doing for supper.  I don’t need that stress, so here is our menu plan for the week… Monday: Turkey Club Sandwiches using Gluten Free Homemaker’s Focaccia Bread Homemade potato chips with homemade ranch dressing Fresh baked gluten free…

Bible Study/Devotions: In the morning, I am reading the Daily Bread devotionals. In the evening, I am working on a journal/prayer journal. We’ve just added morning devotions together before we start school. Must Do List: Laundry Vacuum Put together care package for D and mail it Train Them Up: We are learning more about organic gardening and starting more seeds indoors this week.
