My Thoughts:
The Grow! Bible is a great Bible that bridges the gap between the typical Bible geared towards younger kids and the teenage study Bible. This is a study Bible for younger kids that features lovely illustrations within the text. As is typical with study Bibles, the Grow! Bible has introduction information for each book of the Bible which includes information about the author and time of writing as well as other key facts. Throughout the Bible, there are Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How boxes that give information about the text and events taking place within the text. The 4U section gives practical application concepts for the scripture passage. Cross Connections point out the connections between the Scripture passage and the cross.
Other key components in this study Bible include articles and charts for more in-depth study, a glossary for better understanding of unfamiliar words, and timelines and maps for a better picture of the time and place of the events/people in Scripture.
The hardback Grow! Bible is sturdy. The pages within are not super thin which should make it last longer than other cheaply made Bibles. The colors and graphics are eye-catching and enhance the text. Overall, I think this is a nice beginner study Bible.
