Project 365 – #021
I put this vinyl decal on the wall next to my bed. It’s one of the first things that I see in the morning and the last thing that I see at night. It helps me to remember that God is completely in control, and that anything is possible with the Lord’s help. I need to put my trust in Him as I try to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks during the week.
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. ~Matthew 19:26
We’re in week 3 of the first month of 3 in 30. January is just flying by. This week has been interesting as we’re preparing for company. Munchkin is still recovering from her illness, but she is doing better. She was able to get outside and play with her dolls with her friend. The fresh air was good for her.
Taking care of Munchkin and focusing on the really cleaning the house has lead to less computer time. I’m trying to visit and encourage others who are also doing the challenge, but I’m not able to make it to each blog every week. I’m really impressed with those who have made the time to encourage so many others. I know that I really appreciate the words of encouragement that I’ve received this week.
The verse that I mentioned above was really an encouragement to me as I kept plugging along on the house. D left a sweet note of appreciation on the mirror for me one morning saying that I was doing a great job and that he appreciated all of my hard work. Talk about a great way to start my day!!
~~ Mental Health ~~ Physical Health ~~ Spiritual Health ~~
Our company arrives today, so I’ll be putting my cleaning/organizing on hold next week. I will be continuing with my fitness goals as well as my spiritual goals. I’m continuing to do devotions daily. I’m finding that having my devotional out and visible helps me to grab it. My Bible is next to the bed for easy access.
For my fitness goals, I have been working out every day. I do not allow myself to get on the computer until I’ve done my exercises for the day. This seems to be working well for me. Daily exercise is becoming a good habit, so it’s starting to get easier to do. As my body gets use to all of the activity, I will be bumping up the intensity of the workouts. For now, I’m still keeping them challenging, but not too challenging.
Since fitness is an integral part of my goals for this year, I’m going to try to get back in the habit of linking up to Fit Mommy Friday.
How are your goals going for 2011? It’s not too late to join in on the 3 in 30 Challenge.

It sounds like you’ve made excellent progress this month. Good job!! I’ve already been thinking about February’s goals and I will definitely have a fitness-related goal on my list. I’m trying so hard to get in more exercise, but I just don’t enjoy it, so it’s really difficult for me to do it. Gotta push myself! 😉

It is very hard to get around to seeing everyone on the list, so don’t feel like you are alone on that matter. I loved the verse in Matthew that you shared. Sounds like you have a great plan on how to meet your goals. Way to go! Keep up the awesome work!!

I like what you’ve done, not allowing yourself to hop on your computer UNTIL you’ve done your exercise. I can see how that works!! GREAT JOB on your progress =) Have a GREAT day!
Keeping it Personal,

That is such an uplifting verse for me. It’s the same one I pulled out of a book of 100 when I was doing a review earlier this week. I hope you enjoy your company.
Isn’ t nice to still get love notes?
The note was the best, wasn’t it? I think little surprises like that are even better than grand surprises. Maybe because they are so genuine instead of showy. They feel more personal and more sacred. Congratulations on being who you want to be!

Beautiful decal 🙂 keep up the good work! Hope that Munchkin is all better & is able to enjoy her time with the grandparents! Have a great weekend! God Bless.
It sounds like you’ve made good progress on your goals in spite of circumstances. I love the verse you shared – what a great way to wake up/fall asleep each day, meditating on the Word!

I thought exercises was going to be a burden on my life, now I love doing it, especially when my little one is napping. Isn’t refreshing to do and doesn’t it help with the stress of life. I love the decal and the fact that it’s one of the first things you see in the morning. How uplifting!
