3 in 30: February Week 2

Posted in Homemaking, and Photography

Project 365 – #042 February – the month of love.  Little did I know as I set my goals for this month that only a week into the challenge I would be sitting on the sidelines while my daughter took care of me. I set goals for February that would allow me to show love in my relationship with Christ, my relationship with my family, and my relationship with myself.  I ended up not really accomplishing the goals that I had set up for myself this week. Instead, I found that I watched my daughter’s love for me shine through…

Project 365 – #035 Since February is the month of love due to Valentine’s Day, my goals this month will be focusing on love. Since February is known as the month of love due to Valentine’s Day, I decided that my goals this month will be focused on the theme of love. Project 365 – #028 This week’s check-in will be brief as I’m currently fighting with our virtually non-existent internet connection.  I first want to thank everyone who stopped by and commented on last week’s post.  I am sorry that I did not make it around to comment on your posts due to having company and being out of town.  Once I arrive back home this week, I’ll start making some rounds.  Thank you for your patience and understanding. I’m finishing the month with most of my goals being met. While the storage closet didn’t get completely purged and sorted, it…

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. ~Matthew 19:26 We’re in…

3 in 30: January Week 2 Check-In

It’s hard to believe that we’re already 2 weeks into January 2011.  Last year seemed to fly by, and this year seems to be doing the same already.  With Munchkin being sick, we haven’t been getting much schooling done, but it has allowed me to focus more on the goals that I’ve set for this month. I realized this week that I have 1 daily goal, 1 weekly goal, and 1 monthly goal.  I did not plan this out, but it seems to be working for me.  I try to work on the monthly goal (homemaking) a little each day,…
