It seems that a new year lends itself to reorganizing the house. We’re already putting away Christmas decorations, and we’re on a bit of a break from the normal day-to-day routine. Munchkin is going to be starting up with the Keepers of the Faith – Keepers at Home program. I have an old book, so we decided to get started with the program while we wait for the new materials to arrive. Tackle It Tuesday: Getting Caught Up

I need to participate in Tackle It Tuesday this week. We loved having company this past week, but now, I need to buckle down and get caught up on everything. Last night, I tackled emails and blog stuff. I still have a few things to finish (like picking a winner for the giveaway), but most things are at least back on track. {done} Today, I’m tackling getting caught up on reading and review items. Tackle It Tuesday: Computer Organization

After my laptop died, I was very frustrated that I lost ebooks, files, and pictures because they didn’t get properly backed up. To my pleasant surprise, more of the pictures were backed up than I originally thought. So, today, I am tackling organizing pictures, files, ebooks on my new laptop. Then, I’ll be backing up those neatly organized files onto my portable hard drive. I admit that I’m now paranoid, so I back up my computer data quite frequently now. Getting it all organized will take some time and work, but it will be worth it.

Tackle It Tuesday

Now that Munchkin is older and is helping more with cleaning, I have decided that it’s really time to start looking for less toxic methods of cleaning. Not to mention, the horrible fumes that come from many cleaning products make me feel awful. Munchkin also really wants to start doing things to help the environment, so we are starting to “go green” to some extent. Today, we’ll be going through the house and cleaning out the toxic cleaning products and replacing them with non-toxic cleaning products.
