Our week started out with freezing weather and some snow. It ended with beautiful, warm, sunny days. We headed outside in our summer clothes and had fun working and playing in the warm sun. The yard needed a lot of work due to being neglected all winter long. When you have lots of pine trees, you have lots and lots and lots of pine needles and pine cones to clean up. Online Cooking Class: Roast Chicken

This week’s assignment for our online cooking class was Lemon & Rosemary Roast Chicken. We paired it with homemade steak fries and tin foil carrots from the previous lessons. The chicken was absolutely delicious, and D was happy to take the leftovers in his lunch today. We saved the carcass as we’ll be using that in next week’s lesson.

Our first actual snowfall of the year. It isn’t much, but Munchkin was thrilled to be able to have some snow to play in. Munchkin is thinking about what she wants to make with the snow. She decides to build a snow face. It has many different facial expressions over the time period that she was outside.
