Munchkin and I have been really enjoying the Back to Basics Cooking Class offered by Shelley from One Roast Vegetable. I’m thrilled to announce that she’ll be offering another class this month!! When we first went gluten free, I wanted to create some cookie recipes that didn’t require a lot of ingredients and were easy to make. Mixing up a bunch of flours to create the perfect flour blend was rather overwhelming. I wanted to be able to quickly put together cookies like before we were gluten free. These flourless peanut butter cookies fit the bill as they only required 4 ingredients that I always had on hand. Awana Grand Prix

Munchkin was pleased with how her car turned out. There were a lot of very cool cars that showed up on race day. Munchkin’s completed car. A few cars lined up to be judged. Munchkin’s car lined up on the track ready to race. She came in second or third in her races. She was pleased until she realized that she wouldn’t be moving on to the next round. At the end of the day, they awarded prizes to the racers for both achievements in racing and appearance. They all received an award for participation as well as Awana bucks.
