End of Year Testing 2010

Today is Munchkin’s end of year testing.  While we are not required by Arizona state law to perform the testing, we have chosen to do it anyway.  I am able to administer the test at home, so we don’t have to go anywhere for the actual test.  Munchkin seriously dislikes taking standardized tests, but I feel it’s important for her to get use to the concept. Virtually every morning, I wake up to the twittering of birds right outside of my window.  The funny this is that the large birds seem to make less noise than the small birds.  Our little hummingbird appears to make the loudest noise out of all of our feathered friends.  (Side note: I have yet to capture our little hummingbird in a picture.  He/she is just way too fast.  One day, I may be able to get a nice picture….) We enjoy having family movie nights at our house.  It’s fun to sit down as a family and watch a great movie.  All too often lately movies seem to contain at least some material that we would prefer to avoid.  I had heard great things about Secrets of the Mountain, so I was optimistic when we received it to watch.
