I had to do a quick post to let everyone know about a new online magazine that Kelli (and her husband) from There is No Place Like Home have put out. It’s called Seasonal Delights; it’s absolutely beautiful. You can subscribe here for free! It’s a quarterly magazine for “young ladies and their mothers”. The current (and first) issue is the Autumn issue with fabulous ideas for fall entertaining, decorating, and homemaking (and much more).

Where Did I Go????

I woke up Thursday morning to a laptop that was no longer working (again), so after just picking it up on Monday, I headed back over to the shop to drop it off yet again…. My “back-up” computer is having some issues of it’s own, so once again, my time is limited. On a more positive note, D arrived home early afternoon on Thursday and was able to go to the airport with us to pick up my Dad and Stepmom from the airport. Whew!! What a day! It was one of those days that was filled with ups and downs. Munchkin is still sick, so that explains a lot of it. We started back up with school again today after our little delay last week due to her being really sick. Overall, that went well minus a few “glitches” from not feeling well. Munchkin has been really interested in learning more about formal tea parties, so we looked around for a tea set at some thrift stores. We didn’t have any luck. We enjoyed a surprise “longer” weekend with D this past weekend. He was able to spend all day Friday and Saturday with us. He headed back on Sunday afternoon. Since it had been about a month since he had been home, this was very precious time for us. We put aside all work and just enjoyed family time. Munchkin is continuing to do well with school. We’re really enjoying the new Little House unit study that we’re doing. Unfortunately, Munchkin woke up sick this morning.
