We enjoyed a surprise “longer” weekend with D this past weekend. He was able to spend all day Friday and Saturday with us. He headed back on Sunday afternoon. Since it had been about a month since he had been home, this was very precious time for us. We put aside all work and just enjoyed family time.
Munchkin is continuing to do well with school. We’re really enjoying the new Little House unit study that we’re doing. Unfortunately, Munchkin woke up sick this morning. So today, we’re just relaxing and watching recorded episodes of the Magic School Bus and Liberty’s Kids. Munchkin is also enjoying reading the Magic School Bus chapter books.
I have lots of cleaning to get caught up on, so that will be my tackle for this week.
