On Sunday, our church started a new study during the Sunday School hour based upon the book A Marriage Without Regrets by Kay Arthur. Our assignment for this week was to read through chapter 1 and answer a few questions. Our instructors recommended doing the study questions together after we had each read the chapter. They felt this would help us learn more about our spouses. The one thing that we both came away with from the reading is that we are very grateful for our relationship and each other. It will be interesting to see how this class goes…

Evening Prayer

Continuation of David’s prayers from last Sunday. Psalm 4 1 Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer! 2 O men, how long shall my honor be turned into shame? How long will you love vain words and seek after lies? Selah 3 But know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself; the LORD hears when I call to him. 4 Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be…
Growing Up & Responsibility

A few weeks ago, Munchkin pet sat for our neighbors for 3 days. They were quite pleased with the job that she had done. She loved the responsibility and pride that came with working hard and earning her own money. Munchkin and I are really excited about this year as we’ll get to learn about and try products from companies that we may not have known about otherwise. Our reviews will always be honest and fair. If the…

Many are rising against me;2 many are saying of my soul, there is no salvation for him in God. Selah3 But you, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.4 I cried aloud to the LORD, and he answered me from his holy hill. Selah5 I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the LORD sustained me.6 I will not be afraid of many thousands of…
