Tackle It Tuesday: More Packing

Posted in Homemaking

You guessed it! We’ve got lots of packing going on this week as moving day is on Friday. We’ll be picking up the truck on Friday, and we’ll start loading it Friday late afternoon/evening. We’ll finish packing up on Saturday and head down to the new house as soon as we’re done. We’ll be unloading on Saturday, returning the truck on Sunday, and heading back up here after that. Talk about a whirlwind trip!!! If we have time, we’ll do some unpacking while we’re down there. If not, we’ll be unpacking at a later time. But, for now, it’s all…

Works for Me Wednesday: Car Edition

We’re just going to spend the day reuniting as a family and having some good old fashioned fun!! No working today! The rest of the week’s tackle will be packing, packing, and more packing. I think we may take a load of stuff down to the new house this weekend, and then…

Meal Plan Monday

Posted in Homemaking

Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone, but I haven’t made up a real meal plan for this week. We’re going to be working at cleaning out the pantry and freezer before the move, so I’ll just be using up what we have. While it may not seem very organized, it’s something that needs to be done every now and again. D is returning home tonight, so I want to see if there is anything that he would like to eat this week before making up a menu. So, tentatively, we’ll be having the following things this week — I’m just not sure…
