I admit it. I love strawberry picking (or berry picking period). I love going out to the field and picking those fresh, sweet berries. Of course, you have to sample of few berries as you’re picking to make sure they’re just right. I enjoy making freezer jam (though hulling and slicing all those berries isn’t the most fun activity). Last night, I made my first strawberry pies which were yummy! (I’ll post about that later). Then, there is the traditional strawberry shortcake. Yum! On Wednesday, we headed over to a local berry “farm” (or so we thought). It turned out to be a field on the side of the road, but we didn’t care as the strawberries were very tasty. I promise that all of the moving tips will soon be a thing of the past (well, until the next move. lol!) One thing that has made things much easier this time is sorting like items together. Now, this means a little more effort up front, but in the long run it makes the moving process much easier.
