Tackle It Tuesday: More Packing

Posted in Homemaking

You guessed it! We’ve got lots of packing going on this week as moving day is on Friday. We’ll be picking up the truck on Friday, and we’ll start loading it Friday late afternoon/evening. We’ll finish packing up on Saturday and head down to the new house as soon as we’re done. We’ll be unloading on Saturday, returning the truck on Sunday, and heading back up here after that. Talk about a whirlwind trip!!! If we have time, we’ll do some unpacking while we’re down there. If not, we’ll be unpacking at a later time.

But, for now, it’s all about the packing…. Since D is working, most of the packing falls on me. So please pray that I’ll stay healthy and be able to get the packing done in time. Poor munchkin isn’t getting much attention during all of this packing, so if you have any ideas on fun things for her to do while I’m packing please let me know.

Maybe your daughter can label the boxes after they’re packed. It might not occupy her for very long, but my kids always like drawing on something unusual. She could write the room and then add her own artistic touch to the boxes.

Good luck getting it all packed up!
