Frugal Friday: Plant Swap

Posted in Homemaking, and Thrifty Ideas

If you’ve looked over my blog, you know that I’ve been doing a lot of planting and work in my yard. About a week ago, a new group in our area was started for swapping/sharing plants. I thought this was a wonderful idea, and joined the group. Today, I picked up at least 10 Rose of Sharon plants for free. One of the ladies lives very close to me and was giving them away. She says that I can have as many as I want for free. Wow! There have been many things listed on the group. I’ll be getting…

Munchkin Garden

She was in heaven and had to test them out as soon as we arrived home. Now, the reason for our outing was to allow her to pick out the plants for her very own garden. All too often we forget that kids…

Click on image for link Whew! It’s hard to believe it’s that time of week again; time to post another tackle. I have to admit that this week’s tackle was a bit easier than the last couple of weeks (thankfully). This week, I’ve been tackling re-doing some of the closets. They all need to be updated to meet our needs instead of the previous owner’s. So, without further ado… The master bedroom before and after photos: The master closet has matching plastic storage drawers on both sides that the previous owners left behind in the garage. The closet organizer was…
