A Wise Old Owl

Jurassic Pumpkin

The housing office in base housing offers kids the opportunity to come to the “pumpkin patch” and pick out a pumpkin.  Usually, we seem to miss out on the best pumpkins, but this year, the pumpkin patch opened the day of D’s surgery.  One of the things that I did to keep Munchkin busy was to take her over to pick out her pumpkin.  She was pretty excited that she was able to get a really nice pumpkin. Daddy-Daughter Walk

Can you believe that it’s already the first of November?  It’s been just over a week since Daddy had his second back surgery.  We are extremely pleased that he’s already in less pain that he was in prior to this surgery.  The recovery is already going better than after the first surgery.  Praise the Lord! On Monday, we headed over for the follow-up appointment with the surgeon.  He was pleased to hear that things were going well.  The x-rays look good even though all the metal “bling” that he’s now sporting is crazy.  The doc says that he should make…
