Little did we know what a difference that short trip to the stables would make in our lives. Wednesday saw Munchkin begin her volunteer work at the stable with the plan that she’d only work a couple of hours two times a week until she got settled in. That didn’t last very long as each day has seen a slightly longer day, and tomorrow (her third day this week) will be the longest day yet. lol! We now find ourselves trying to find a new balance with school, chores, and her volunteer work. Shortly, we’ll also be adding in taking care of Daddy.
All of this has been quite the change for us as we had stepped away from all outside activities for the last year or so. We continue to see the Lord revealing His plan for Munchkin as we seek His will in her life and our activities as a family. Many pieces are still missing from the puzzle, but it’s nice to see the picture within the puzzle being revealed piece by piece.
What a wonderful post, Heather! Yes, isn’t God so good to give us a glimpse of what He is doing in our child’s life….one piece at a time? I love this analogy!
