We Give Thanks

We give thanks to thee
for the golden day
for the song of the river
for the whisper of the trees
for the mountains watching over the sea
and for the blue blanket of the heavenly sky.
We give thanks to thee
for each breath that we sigh
for the beating of the drum deep inside
for the blessing of each precious day
and most of all we give thanks for thy gracious love.
I thought this Celtic Thanksgiving song was beautiful and wanted to share it today as we get ready for Thanksgiving week. May we not lose focus on being thankful as the busyness of the holiday sets in. May our hearts be truly grateful for the many blessings from our Lord.

I was going to skip the song / video (because I saw the deer…and it is deer hunting season) but then I saw Celtic and had to listen / watch. So glad I did…beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
How beautiful. The greatest gifts are the ones that can’t be bought. This certainly sums it up.
