Math Galaxy Review

Math Galaxy believes that there is a place for both teachers and computers in a student’s learning processes.  By tapping into the best of both, the student can gain the best education.  The teacher can best gauge where a student needs the most work, and the computer can drill the student with those types of problems until they master the concept. Working and Listening

Ever since I found the audio Bible online, I have been listening to scripture while I do my housework or other tasks that do not require me to think.  I can listen to the scripture passage and still get things done.  I was struggling when I was trying to do everything plus read the longer scripture passages for the Bible in 90 Days challenge.  Now, that I don’t feel the least bit stressed about it, I’m enjoying the challenge again. Veggie Platter with Homemade Ranch Dip

Veggie Platter with Homemade Ranch Dip Ranch Dry Mix Ingredients: 3 Tbsp dried minced onions 3 Tbsp dried minced parsley 1 tsp dried minced chives 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp dried dill 1/2 tsp ground black pepper Mix together ingredients and store in airtight container. Homemade Ranch Dip or Dressing For Dip: mix together 1/2 C sour cream and 2 tsp dry ranch mix from above. For Dressing: mix together 1/2 C sour cream, 2 tsp dry ranch mix from above, and buttermilk to thin to desired thickness. Serve with your favorite cut up veggies…

Top 10 Reasons We Homeschool Year Around

If you have been reading this blog for a while, you know that we have chosen to homeschool year around. In the past, we have done a lighter schedule in the summer.  We’ve also used the summer to do various classes or curriculum that wouldn’t fit into our normal school schedule.  Now that we’re in Az, we’ll be schooling full time in the summer as it’s too hot to be outside.
