From household labels to clothing labels to allergy alert labels, Mabel’s Labels has a variety of labels for all of your labeling needs.  We were given the opportunity to review the allergy alert labels. Gluten Free Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars Ingredients: 1 cup gluten-free flour 1 cup gluten free oats 2/3 cup brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup butter 1 cup peanut butter Directions: In a mixing bowl combine gluten free flour, gluten free oats, brown sugar and baking soda. Cut in butter till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Reserve 1 cup of the flour mixture. Press remaining flour mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 8×8 pan. Spread with peanut butter. (slightly melt peanut butter if you’re unable to spread) Sprinkle with reserved flour mixture. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until the…

2010 Library-Loving Blog Challenge

Busy Reading

I have a stack of books that I need to read (and review),  so today, while Munchkin played, I sat down and read.  I read for several hours.  It was fun to relax and just read as I really enjoy being able to get into a good book. Today, I was focusing on a book series for Munchkin.  I like to screen books when possible for Munchkin.  Since I’m a fast reader, I’m normally able to get through one of her books in an hour or two.  It’s sad how much garbage is out there for kids to read.  Thankfully,…
