My recipe for a semi-homemade version of gluten free buttermilk drop biscuits. This is my easy go-to biscuit base when I don’t feel like mixing up various flours.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups Pamela’s Baking Mix
  • 1 Stick of butter
  • 2/3 Cup buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Cut butter into baking mix until thoroughly combine; pea sized pieces of butter
  2. Add buttermilk and mix until thoroughly combine.
  3. Drop biscuits onto cookie sheet
  4. Bake at 375 degrees F for 12 minutes.
  5. Allow biscuits to cool slightly before frosting. Serve warm or cold.

Gluten Free Cheddar Bay Biscuit Option Add:

  • 1/2 Cup (more if desired) of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 – 1/2 tsp garlic powder
