My recipe for a semi-homemade version of gluten free buttermilk drop biscuits. This is my easy go-to biscuit base when I don’t feel like mixing up various flours.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Pamela’s Baking Mix
- 1 Stick of butter
- 2/3 Cup buttermilk
Directions:
- Cut butter into baking mix until thoroughly combine; pea sized pieces of butter
- Add buttermilk and mix until thoroughly combine.
- Drop biscuits onto cookie sheet
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 12 minutes.
- Allow biscuits to cool slightly before frosting. Serve warm or cold.
Gluten Free Cheddar Bay Biscuit Option Add:
- 1/2 Cup (more if desired) of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 – 1/2 tsp garlic powder
