Works for Me Wednesday: Kitchen Edition

Posted in Homemaking

Tupperware storage containers work for me. You can see my current kitchen set-up with all my Tupperware containers here. As a military family, moving is part of our life. Which means, organization becomes a necessity as you never know what size space you might be living in. Also, before Tupperware, it meant getting rid of most everything in the pantry before moving. Then, when you arrived at your new duty station, you needed to repurchase all of your staples. What a waste. But moving companies will pack anything that is stored in Tupperware containers. That’s right. No more throwing/giving away…

Works for Me Wednesday: Manual Binder

We had so many different product manuals lying around the house that it was crazy. Then, there were all the manuals that my husband had for all of his stuff in the garage. Needless to say, I needed to find a better way to organize them and keep them all in one location. WFMW: Love, Sweet Love Edition

Some of the best relationship advice that I received is to always keep the communication lines open. For us, this means that we always talk in the evening before bed. Even if D isn’t home, we always try to talk by phone or email. Obviously, this isn’t always possible, but we do our best. I tend to start talking a lot when D is trying to fall asleep, but we won’t mention that…. We also talk a lot when we’re driving. We laugh a lot too because I always bring books with me when we’re going on a long trip,…
