Sorry about the horrible picture. Our camera is dying. 🙁 This is a solid wood Broyhill desk. There is also a drawer in the middle on the front, but the slide came off. We have the piece, so it just needs to be put back together. It’s a little scratched and worn, but it’s still beautiful. I’ll probably refinish it down the road, but for now, I think it’s just fine. It’s heavy and it wasn’t fun to move it out of the original owner’s home and into ours. But, it’s here now. It just confirmed what we’ve felt all…

Last night, D and I were laughing about how different our reading lists were. Could it have something to do with our professions? lol! Hmm… I’m reading about homemaking, organization, homeschooling. Dvd/Cd/Game Storage

I don’t know about you, but at our house we have a lot of dvds, cds, computer games, and computer software. I was tired of trying to find a place for everything. Next, we took all the music cds out of their cases and put them in cd storage binders. Munchkin has her own cd storage binder for her computer games. I have a case for all my computer related things, and…

It made us think about how many times we back down from our own opinions just because everyone else thinks differently. Ultimately, it really doesn’t matter what others think as…

Cut in butter till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Reserve 1 cup of the flour mixture. Press remaining flour mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 8×8 pan. Spread with desired jam. Sprinkle with reserved flour mixture. Bake at 350 for 30…
