Yesterday, I received an email from a local yahoo homeschool group that I belong to. A couple of ladies were inviting other homeschooling families to come join them for a day at the park. Well, being new to the area, I had no idea where the park was, but I was eager to start making contacts (and hopefully friends) in the area. I emailed one of the ladies to get directions. Works for Me Wednesday: Laughing & Playing

With everything that we have going on right now, playtime and one-on-one time with Munchkin have become essential. And, guess what!! It’s essential for me too! I need that down time. It’s amazing how much better you feel when you have taken out time to really have fun with your child. It’s fun to see munchkin’s face light up with laughter as we’re playing together or reading together. It doesn’t matter what we do as long as it’s quality time together not working. Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s fun to work together as well, but we need that playtime…
