Soccer and Perseverance

Munchkin has so much fun playing sports.  It’s a good way for her to get exercise, stay in shape, make friends, and learn teamwork.  It also helps her work on persevering through various challenges.  Working through these little challenges help her learn how to face bigger challenges in life. In today’s soccer game, Munchkin was hit with several balls that were kicked quite hard.  There were a few tears shed, but she kept going.  She worked through the pain and continued playing. Foto Friday Challenge: Hearts

After seeing this week’s challenge of hearts, I knew that I wanted to do something a little different.  When we headed out to the desert, I decided to look for hearts in nature.  It was fun to see how many hearts I found when I was actually looking.  Munchkin got excited by what I was finding,  so she joined in on the hunt for hearts.
