Zion: Human History Museum

Posted in Family, and Outdoor Adventures

Zion National Park is located near Springdale, Utah.  Unlike Bryce Canyon National Park, you are unable to drive through the park from March to October.  During these months, you must park you car and ride the shuttle.  Most people park at the visitor center, but if you get to the park after 10:00 am on most days, you’ll probably need to park in Springdale and take a free shuttle to the visitor center. At the visitor center, we picked up a Junior Ranger guide for Munchkin.  Once again, we took along our Your Guide to Zion and Bryce Canyon National…

Tillamook Cheese Review and Giveaway

What is the Great Bathroom you ask?  Well, Munchkin will be cleaning her bathroom while I clean the master bathroom.  We’re having…

Sand Hollow State Park

Posted in Family, and Outdoor Adventures

Sand Hollow State Park is a campground that calls to boaters, fisherman, and off-roaders alike.  You see, this state park has different campground options to accommodate many different types of campers.  Why did D decide that he wanted to come to this particular campground?  Well, he thought Munchkin would like the lake, but he also liked that we could hit lots of trails/open riding spaces with the dirt bike and RZR directly from our campsite. The park was also a great location to be able to head over to Zion National Park and one other interesting stop.  We had gotten…
