Gluten Free Crunchmaster Giveaway

Posted in Reviews

Crunchmaster makes a nice selection of delicious crisp gluten free crackers.  We received a couple of varieties to try (multi-grain with sea salt and multi-grain crisps), and they didn’t last very long around here.  While the original multi-grain were great, both D and I preferred the sea salt variety.  The sea salt gave it a wonderful punch of flavor.  These were our favorite for snacking. Once I saw the packaging, I realized that we actually had purchased a bulk package of the crackers from either Sam’s Club or Costco.  Munchkin’s absolute favorite is the rice cracker artisan cheese blend.  She…

Gluten Free Breakfast Sandwich

Project 365 – #139 D loves to have his bigger breakfasts.  While he’ll eat cereal, he would much rather have eggs, pancakes, waffles, breakfast burritos… You get the idea.  He likes to start his day off with a hearty meal.  Before his surgery, he would make his own breakfast burritos or omelets or heat up something I had already made such as waffles or pancakes.  Now, he’s not able to do the cooking – at least not yet.  The good this is that he’s not getting up really early, so I can make breakfast at my own pace.  **grin** This…

Christian Artist Intro: Robert Pierre

Posted in Reviews

We are always listening to music around here, so it’s fun when a new (at least to me) Christian artist comes onto the scene. First, let me introduce you to Robert Pierre – a typical 18-year-old senior.  Well, he’s typical except for the fact that he’s about to release his 3rd Christian music album. On this latest album, Robert wrote 10 of the 11 songs on the album. Obviously, he’s singing on the album, but he’s also playing guitar and singing back up vocals. At a young age, his passion for Christ and music shines through in all of his…

Project 365 – #138 Munchkin decided that she wanted a different hair style.  It’s been some time since I’ve been able to style her hair as she’s been doing her hair on her own for some time.  I enjoyed being able to come up with a style and helping her.  We had fun.

Using up Leftovers

Posted in Gluten Free, Homemaking, and Photography

Project 365 – #137 As you can see from some of my recent posts (Apple Cinnamon Muffins and Frozen Banana Treats), I love to be able to use up any leftover food that we have.  I hate to see food go to waste.  For me, throwing away food is basically throwing away money.  That’s not to say that it doesn’t happen, but I try my best to make sure that I either use the food up or toss it in the freezer before it goes bad.  It’s pretty cool how many foods can be tossed in the freezer to extend…
