I’ll be scarce around here for the next few weeks as we prepare for a special visitor. This special someone will be arriving sometime at the end of the week. We eagerly await a phone call to tell us when (day and time) to pick him up. He’ll only be around for a couple of weeks, so this time will be very precious. I have to admit that I wasn’t really expecting much from my Mother’s Day as D is gone. I was in for a pleasant surprise! Munchkin hid little notes around the house leading me on a “treasure” hunt. (She did this on Saturday evening before bed and instructed me not to look around the house after she went to bed.) So, on Sunday morning after she got up, we headed out on my treasure hunt. Munchkin and I have been having lots of fun planning for the next school year. What’s the problem you may ask. Well, she’s only a few weeks into the current school year. (We school year around, so she began the new school year shortly after finishing the previous school year.) So, we find ourselves needing to be content in the present.
