All Posters: A Book with Glasses Left on Bed After a wonderful vacation (and long drive home), there is nothing more welcoming than curling up in the comfort of your own bed… We had a lovely time with family. It was a long trip there and back, but it was worth the drive. Our time was filled with laughter, strange/crazy events, fishing, boating, tubing, great homemade food, and good old fashioned family fun. We made lots of amazing memories even though a part of us was missing. Now, we’re working on slowly settling back into our normal routine while unpacking.…
By the time this post goes through, we will be on the open road heading towards family for a fun, relaxing vacation. So, the blog will be quiet as I don’t believe we have internet access while there. I’m sure I’ll have some great pictures to post when we get back.
A Sad Beginning to the Day

This morning, I found out that one of the Marines that worked with my husband prior to our move here was killed in action. Munchkin and I are a bit shaken up as we knew him. I’m working on a memorial post to put up later today. Please pray for his family.

Munchkin had a wonderful time at VBS (vacation Bible school) this week. Friday, they wrapped up the week with a presentation for the parents, so we could see all of the songs that they learned. Each age group of kids performed on different song on stage. It’s always fun to watch. I taped Munchkin’s performance for Daddy, so he’ll be able to see it when he gets home. We continued with schooling this week in the afternoons. In Bible, we’re talking about Jesus as the Messiah and John the Baptist.
