Our week started out with freezing weather and some snow. It ended with beautiful, warm, sunny days. We headed outside in our summer clothes and had fun working and playing in the warm sun. The yard needed a lot of work due to being neglected all winter long. When you have lots of pine trees, you have lots and lots and lots of pine needles and pine cones to clean up. We’re still not done, but we made a huge dent. I didn’t mind all of the work as it felt wonderful to be out in the warm sun. Ah,…

In the town of Beddubble, far out on the Moor, there lived a small tot, who was not more than four. Little Annabelle Ruth (her close friends would recall)had swallowed the string off a dilly-dunk ball. And then in the Spring of two thousand and one,she died of the thing that the string must have done. Where have I been? We have been very, very busy doing projects around the house. D has redone the floors in both bathrooms. I’ve repainted the bathrooms. D redid the door frame to Munchkin’s room (it was a mess) and rehung the door in the other direction. I stained the new door frame. D built desks for Munchkin and I and a new shoe cabinet for the entryway. I’m working on getting those things painted. D built two drawers for my kitchen cabinet. I organized the kitchen cabinets, and reorganized a few things in the kitchen. D has been working…
Poor Munchkin has been sick since Saturday. She woke up on Saturday not feeling 100%. By the time her basketball game was over, she wasn’t feeling well at all. The last few days have been filled with lots of rest. She only wants to eat fruits and veggies right now. We’ve gone through lots of cucumbers and tomatoes. Today, I was able to pick up some blueberries, strawberries, and a personal watermelon to add some variety. I’m willing to purchase whatever she’s willing to eat. I’ve always appreciated the fact that she loves healthy food. lol!

Since I was still recovering from surgery, my mind started to make to do lists like crazy. I’m finally off of restriction although I still need to be cautious not to over do things. Is that possible with an upcoming move? Thankfully, we do have a few months before the cross country trek. One problem is that we never fully moved into this…
