This last week was a whirlwind of activity. We ended up having family stay for most of this past week. Our unexpected company made for a very happy birthday for Munchkin. Since we rarely get to spend birthdays with family, this was a fun treat. There were many early mornings as the cousins were eager to play together. On Saturday, Munchkin had her first baseball game, and she had her own little cheering section. The weather was beautiful, and she had fun. The house is officially on the market. While I still have a few things to do here and there prior to having any showings, the major work is done. We plan on having a relaxing Easter weekend. We’ve done our part; the sale of the house is now in the Lord’s hands…
Friday, Munchkin had her first baseball practice of the year since last week’s practice was rained out. On Saturday, she had her baseball clinic. I like how this league does these clinics as it gives all of the kids the opportunity to learn and/or brush up on the basics of the game. D helped with the kids on the team as Munchkin’s coach had to stay at one of the stations. It was such a nice, warm, sunny day that both D and Munchkin ended up with sunburns. I am exhausted. I was able to finish painting Munchkin’s room today which was a major feet. I had to paint the ceiling in addition to the walls. The whole room (ceiling included) was painted orange when we moved in. Sadly, I’m just now getting to painting the room for her. She’ll get to enjoy it while we’re still here, and it will help with resale. We painted the walls a light chocolate and the ceiling a light pink. Her closet and organizer are painted almond. Two weeks ago, we were getting ready to head on vacation, and I got sick, really sick. I was in bed for several days. I only got up when I absolutely needed to do something. I didn’t know if we’d be able to go as planned. The day before we were scheduled to leave I hadn’t even packed for the trip.
