Friday, Munchkin had her first baseball practice of the year since last week’s practice was rained out. On Saturday, she had her baseball clinic. I like how this league does these clinics as it gives all of the kids the opportunity to learn and/or brush up on the basics of the game. D helped with the kids on the team as Munchkin’s coach had to stay at one of the stations. It was such a nice, warm, sunny day that both D and Munchkin ended up with sunburns.
The rest of Saturday was spent with D working on repairing the brakes on his truck while I worked around the house (packing, sorting, tossing…). On Sunday afternoon, we continued our work around the house including cleaning out the sheds. We have many, many piles of boxes and bags around the house. Shortly, they will be gone.
The good news is that we’re beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel. There will still be lots of sorting and tossing going on after the house is on the market, but that will be done up in that attic. The rooms are beginning to look more bare as our stuff is boxed up and put away. My poor book shelves are bare as the books are now in boxes in the attic. Oh, there are a few left behind, but they look very lonely sitting there on the shelf…
Soon, very soon, we’ll be living in a show house for all to closely scrutinize. So, for now, we will enjoy the bit of craziness that remains around the house.
