Gluten Free Pie Crust

Finally, a yummy, flaky gluten free pie crust. Ingredients: 3/4 C Brown Rice Flour 1 1/2 C Sweet Rice Flour 1/4 C Potato Starch (not flour) 1 tsp. salt 3/4 C + 2 Tbsp Butter (allow to sit on counter for a few minutes to soften) 2 eggs 1/4 C cold water Directions: 1. Today was D’s first day back to work after his surgery.  Thanks to a long Thanksgiving weekend, it was only a half day of work.  He was pretty wiped and hurting by the time he came home, but overall things went pretty well.  We keep thinking back to the previous back surgery and find ourselves so grateful that it all went better this time around.  Last time he went back to work, I was receiving text messages from a concerned Marine saying that he really needed to go back to the doctor prior to coming back to work.  This time,…

As we were preparing our Thanksgiving menu, I thought I would try out a new sauce for the turkey rather than just having the traditional gravy. Yes, I still made regular gravy because the crew would have had a fit if there was no gravy for the mashed potatoes.
