Munchkin loves to play board games. Me? Not so much. I usually pass off the board game playing to Daddy when possible. The problem? Daddy has been pretty busy since we moved here, so Munchkin hasn’t been able to play very many board games lately. At the same time this was going on, Munchkin started to get a little tired of the regular routine for school. Doing just the basics wasn’t cutting it for her. She needed some variety, some fun. I decided to make some changes in how our day was going to look. I’ll write more later on…

Parmesan Chicken Bites & Potatoes

Munchkin has started back up with her home economics which means yummy good eats for us. One new thing that has been added to her studies is meal planning and nutrition. She now has her own knife (the handle is pink). We enjoyed a hearty meal of Italian Parmesan chicken bites, Parmesan roasted potatoes, and corn. Daddy gave it 2 thumbs up and was very…

While waiting for the cookbook to arrive, we had delicious fun trying out the free recipes on the website. Sue encourages everyone to try out the recipes prior to ordering her cookbooks. She knows that the methods used in the cookbooks will not be for everyone. It’s not…

Making Something Old New

Munchkin and I wanted seat cushions for our outdoor furniture, but we can’t afford to just go out and buy some new ones. I had found outdoor fabric for a really, really good price on clearance shortly after we arrived here. All I needed was some cushions. At first, I looked at the foam at the fabric store, but it was too expensive. I decided to head down to the thrift store to see what they had available. I was able to purchase these cushions and pillows very, very inexpensively. I decided that I didn’t want to spend a lot…
