Munchkin has started back up with her home economics which means yummy good eats for us. One new thing that has been added to her studies is meal planning and nutrition.
Today, she planned out what we would have for supper, and then made a delicious meal for us to enjoy. I wish I would have taken some pictures of her prep work for the meal. She now has her own knife (the handle is pink).
We enjoyed a hearty meal of Italian Parmesan chicken bites, Parmesan roasted potatoes, and corn. Daddy gave it 2 thumbs up and was very impressed that she did pretty much everything on her own. (Mommy helped with cutting up the chicken breasts.) Daddy also was bummed that he couldn’t have seconds on the potatoes because they were all gone. Munchkin offered to make more for Daddy tomorrow. lol!
Last night, she treated us to an orange frosty from Sue Gregg’s Lunches & Snacks cookbook. We decided that next time, she’ll use less of the frozen orange juice concentrate. It was quite refreshing on a hot, summer evening.
