Today was D’s first day back to work after his surgery.  Thanks to a long Thanksgiving weekend, it was only a half day of work.  He was pretty wiped and hurting by the time he came home, but overall things went pretty well.  We keep thinking back to the previous back surgery and find ourselves so grateful that it all went better this time around.  Last time he went back to work, I was receiving text messages from a concerned Marine saying that he really needed to go back to the doctor prior to coming back to work.  This time,…
