Movie Night with Redbox Giveaway

Redbox As you probably already know, we enjoy the convenience of being able to pick up a Redbox movie either at home or on the road. If you want to make sure that you get that new release when it first comes to Redbox, you may need to do an online reservation. The one drawback with that is that you normally can’t use the coupon codes that they offer via the monthly text messages or as surprises/thank yous here and there. Reserving online saves you a little money if you’re serving a dvd, but blu-ray rental (which we prefer) is the same online or at the kiosk. We tend to just check on our phones using the Redbox app to see if a movie is available and then pick it up.

Currently, Redbox is running the Movie Awards Game promotion on facebook which gives you the opportunity to win free one-day dvd rentals for 3 years. The promotion will be ending February 26, 2012, so head on over and make your picks for the Academy Awards to see if you can win 3 years worth of one-day dvd rentals.

Ace Hardware Giveaway + After Thanksgiving Coupon

I’m one of those odd people that really does enjoy the craziness of after Thanksgiving shopping. I like finding all of the great deals on things that we need and want. I watch for the Black Friday ads and after Thanksgiving sales. I usually buy a newspaper to get the ads and special coupons. In recent years, some stores have started putting their ads online as well as offering online coupons for consumers to print. This year, Ace Hardware has 2 great after Thanksgiving coupons:

The Saturday (11/26) coupon is for 50% off one regular priced item under $30.
The Sunday (11/27) coupon is for $10 off your purchase of $50 or more of regularly priced merchandise.

We’ve always enjoyed shopping at Ace Hardware as you never know what goodies you’ll find at the store. Their employees have always been helpful and knowledgeable. Even though it’s a chain store, each store seems to have the mom and pop store feel to it which we appreciate.
