In true Veggie Tales fashion, the story of the Little Drummer Boy is told with fun Veggie Tale flare including some references to Star Wars which lend an interesting (hilarious) twist to the tale of old. Aaron (played by Junior) finds himself going through some rough times due to a series of unfortunate events. His faith and trust in both God and humanity is shaken. The story is rather sad at the beginning, so some kids may have a difficult time with it. The mood is lightened by Veggie Tale style humor in an attempt to keep the story from being too dark. We really enjoyed the Veggie Tales version of Little Drummer Boy especially with the various movie spoofs contained in it. It did a great job getting the message across in a fun yet meaningful way.
