Blogger Friend School: Assignment 5

Posted in Blogging, Fun, and Homeschooling

“My brothern, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.” James 1:2-5

Blogger Friend School: Assignment #4

The truth is that this past week’s assignment left me struggling with some of the answers. Not all of the questions will be answered because I honestly try not to spend that much time on the web any more plus, I lost all of my favorites recently. The only thing that I consistently do online each day now is checking my email. Oh, we do go to One Place nightly to listen to the broadcast of Adventures in Odyssey. First place that you look for a book to buy: eBay, Amazon, book sales, paperback swap Favourite homeschool support area: local…

Fall Into Reading 2007

Posted in Blogging

Fall Into Reading 2007 is a casual, low-pressure challenge. The point is simply to provide motivation to read, and to provide an opportunity for all of us to set goals when it comes to our personal (or family) reading. As a participant, all you’ll have to do is make a list of books you’d like to read (or books you’d like to finish!) this fall. We’ll share our goals with each other, and then share our experience and results when the challenge is over. When I first read this assignment, I thought about a book that Grandma gave to Munchkin when she was little. Grandma use to sing this ABC song to Munchkin, and she loved it. So, one time, after she came to visit, she sent Munchkin the book written from the song. The book is A You’re Adorable. You should check it out from the library if you have the opportunity. Now, back to my assignment… AbleBibleCarefulDaughterEmbraceFamilyGodHomeIndustriousJesusKeeperLaborerMommyNuturerObservantPassionQuietReasonableSaviourTeacherUnmovableVictoriousWorshipXyrisYieldingZealous “Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Psalm 127:3 “Train up a child in the…

Blogger Friends School #2 {Sweet Dreams}

My most comfortable place to blog is sitting in bed surrounded by comfy pillows. Sometimes, when the air is cool, I enjoy sitting out on the deck to listen to all of the wildlife and enjoy God’s creation. Once again, I am unable to complete the assignment as I’m still not able to upload pictures. Hopefully, I’ll have my laptop home soon. “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation on my heart, be acceptable in they sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” Psalms 19:14
