Read Together Challenge

The Read Together challenge has started over at Snapshot. Jennifer has challenged us to read a book with our children. “Select a book together. Read it together (out loud or independently). Discuss it (chapter by chapter or all at once at the end).” Munchkin and I will be reading American Girl Josefina series. She’s completed the first 3 books in the series, so I need to get started to catch up. We’ll be discussing the books once we’ve both read them. She’s having fun telling me about the books as she’s reading them. I look forward to discussing these books…

Spring Reading Thing 2007: Wrap Up

It’s hard to believe, but the Spring Reading Thing 2007 has come to a close. I was trying to think about what book I enjoyed the most this spring. I would have to say that I really enjoyed the Excellent Wife. Now, I’ve read this book before several years ago, but I wanted to re-read it. My new author is Elizabeth George (Christian book author). I thoroughly enjoyed her books, and will continue to read the rest of her books as time allows. We ended up not making it through the Narnia series. We took a break and will start…

Do you read e-Books? if so, how? On your computer, or a PDA? Or are you a paper purist? Why?I love e-books because they are instantly available, but I tend to print out the e-books that I read as I like to be able to look at them where ever. Booking Through Thursday 1. Just out of curiosity, as we enter into Passover and Easter season… have you ever read the Bible? Just the odd chapter or Psalm? The whole thing?
