Thankful Thursday

This has been an interesting week filled with ups and downs, but seeing what others are going through puts things into perspective. I am very grateful that I have a wonderful home. We have seen several homeless people this week which really makes a person think. I am very grateful for my family. Although D is away, we still are able to communicate with him. Not everyone is that fortunate… I am very grateful for God’s peace. I don’t know how people get through difficult times without faith in God. He is my strength. I am very grateful for Christmas.…

Blogger Friend School #11 – Praying for Needs

My commitment: I commit to praying for my fellow classmates. I have limited time as I’ll be traveling soon, but I will do my best to make it around to visit as many people as possible. My prayer requests: We will be traveling next week. Please pray for travel mercies. We are heading to my sister’s as she will be having surgery. Holiday Goodies & Mishaps

Munchkin loves to help me in the kitchen, so this year she decided that she was going to help me make peanut butter balls. We decided to do it in stages as I’m not feeling quite up to par. We decided to make the peanut butter balls one night and dip them in chocolate another night. Munchkin was a great help and we were able to get the peanut butter balls done in no time flat. Next, we moved on to flourless peanut butter cookies. We changed them up a little this time and rolled them in sugar. Yum! Unfortunately,…
