Are you looking for a way to bring your family together during Christmas? One good way to bring your family together is to start a tradition of nightly reading. We enjoy reading Christmas books each evening. This year, we have also started an advent book called Just 25 Days ‘Til Christmas. Each day has a devotional story, suggested activities, and a holiday schedule. We’ve been reading the devotional stories (almost) every evening. Christmas Crafting

Munchkin loves crafts, so crafting is very much a part of our Christmas traditions. Here are a couple of things that she’s done this year… She also made snowflake ornaments and gingerbread men ornaments. Our most important craft for this Christmas was the stockings for the troops. Thankful Thursday

This has been an interesting week filled with ups and downs, but seeing what others are going through puts things into perspective. I am very grateful that I have a wonderful home. We have seen several homeless people this week which really makes a person think. I am very grateful for my family. Although D is away, we still are able to communicate with him. Not everyone is that fortunate… I am very grateful for God’s peace. I don’t know how people get through difficult times without faith in God. He is my strength. I am very grateful for Christmas.…
