Tackling a New Homeschool Schedule

Cute Yellow Cab

Project 365: #032

D was cracking up when I started taking pictures at the airport – especially when he saw that I was taking pictures of the cabs.  I just thought they were much nicer looking cabs than you normally see driving around.  Yes, sometimes I can be a bit odd.  That tends to happen when you’re waiting for a delayed flight to arrive.  lol!  What does this have to do with today’s post?  Not much.  I just think it’s bright yellow color is rather cheery.  **grin**

I didn’t end up getting as much done yesterday as I had originally planned.  I headache set in which kept me from accomplishing as much as I would have liked.  Still, things are starting to be put away, and laundry is getting done.  I’ll tackle the rest of the laundry today.

Munchkin has settled back into doing her schooling again.  I can’t say that she’s all that thrilled about it, but she’s still having a good attitude about it.  She’s struggling some with her current Chemistry curriculum, so we may be looking into something else for her.  She’s thoroughly enjoying her writing curriculum, IEW (a TOS Crew review item), which is a blessing.

I need to work on getting a new schedule written up for her.  Somehow, that aspect of schooling seems to have gotten overlooked over the holidays and period of illness.  Ooops!  We have all of her school books and supplies in one location, but I need to get a bit more organized as we jump back into the full swing of things.  I can’t believe that it’s already February!  Time seems to be getting away from me.  Yikes!

So, today, for Tackle It Tuesday, I’ll be tackling a new homeschool schedule for Munchkin.  I plan on getting everything typed up in a “to-do list” format, so she can just check things off as she goes.  (This is her current preferred method of doing things.  She likes the whole checking tasks off thing.)
